THE ARCHITECT
IA is the playground inside the mind of Greg Plater. A character study of a multidisciplinary artist, world-explorer, once pro-athlete, and lifelong underdog on an unconventional path to continuing self-discovery. The work is reflective of his playfully rebellious spirit, using expression as a vehicle to transcend identity markers that define the limits of human perception through societal and normative conformity.
He believes feel (empathy), drive, and being a sponge for learning with an open mind and perspective are key to unlocking our potential. His excitement comes in listening, observing, and bringing what is missing to the forefront. From Salem, Oregon to over 20+ countries, his vision has always been to break boundaries of perceived limits – leading by example – and invite others to surpass him.

THE ICON
Inspired by Auguste Rodin’s “The Thinker” statue, we value deep thought and the broader influence of philosophy. In any field, passion, or pursuit the shifts of change start in the mind.
The symbol represents the fundamentals and building blocks of life, representing pillars of sport, creativity, and identity. It’s an abstract form of the I and A, the circle is the dot.

The Hidden Archetype
Who? The rebellious spirits of counterculture and next wave of leaders who possess DNA of altruistic nature. For us the box to think outside of doesn’t exist, catapulting the capabilities of our limitless potential. When most go left we go right, embracing our vulnerability and imperfections whole heartedly. We build bridges, tell stories, and connected the often unconnected. We take bits and pieces from this world to build our own, leading with empathy and optimism.
What? This is the world in my mind, that moves with its own frequencies, holds its own rules, and escapes the boundaries of limitation.
Where? The journey begins when we let our souls wander where our mind won’t go.
Why? Leaders are needed more than ever. The generalist, polymath, multifaceted, holistic utility person is now. We must express the fullness of who we are.
How? By shifting the way we perceive ourselves and others we can formulate a new way of thinking, living and being.
When? The IA spirit is forever.
