FIND YOUR ARC
What is Find Your Arc?
This is an intimate look into the process of developing consistent habits of improvement. Our arc is our fingerprint, our measure of how we are approaching goals over time. Basketball is a tool for learning through movement, being able to score the ball is intricate to the game. Mastering the art of shooting comes from mastering the fundamentals through consistent repetition. The ball is a metaphor for reaching a desired destination – make or miss, it is our job to shoot our shots.
Overview:
Life has adversity (or defense) that will create obstacles and challenges towards reaching our goals. The most successful players have a short-term memory, which allows them to understand the illusion of success or failure. This online workshop provides an interactive masterclass of establishing universal habits of practice that can be applied to any background, discipline, project, or profession – not restricted to any area of focus.
Where you can shoot your shot – you can Find Your Arc.

Students of school and life, dreamers, creatives, athletes, designers, hobbyists, those in-transition or looking to establish new habits, all in service of elevated performance and joy. Many of us need to train to strengthen our our minds – to be equipped to push through any challenge.
What To Expect:
Training through structured and unstructured activities, play, lessons, and discussion. Expect a spiritual, vulnerable, in-depth look into intersection of sport, philosophy, and critical thinking. Everyone wants ice in their veins, but most forget you have to warm up first.

• Understand how to use step-by-step approach to use small goals to make big leaps.

Starting with the Intellectual Athlete – ABC’s' (Alignment/Being, Becoming/ Consistency, Creativity, Connection). The power of mental training, breathing techniques, and spatial awareness are all assets that create the ability to best find your arc.
Why It Matters:
Great shooters are selfless teammates and often end up getting what is called the Hockey Assist, with no direct stat kept they helped the person who did get the credit for their contribution. Just because we don’t get noticed doesn’t mean we don’t maintain high character, performance, and integrity. Our character will shine brightest by what we do in the dark with no one watching. Building confidence has been shown to be key ingredient for development at all ages.

-
Inspect what “the game is 90% mental and 10% physical means.
“The body is nothing without the mind.” - Morpheus (The Matrix)
-
Imagine → Explore → Discover → Create → Expand
-
Greats learn through studying, analyzing, and observing. Nothing is really original but an adaption or iteration on the past. Innovation starts with understanding, creativity with curiously and discovery through exploration. The answer to problems we want to solve start with a question. To improve we must dissect where we can learn, grow, maintain, and maintain.
-
In your moment to shine, you’ll be equipped with all of the tools and confidence to make the shot or know what adjustments to make for the next one you take. Taking risks is the reward of self-belief.
